About the Role
We are building the team that owns our internal cloud platform end-to-end.
The job is split. Most of the time you are building and running the orchestration layer that sits across our GPU and CPU fleet, including tenant isolation, networking, observability and the operational tooling around it. The rest of the time you are out with customers and the wider business, helping shape what the platform should do next.
If you have run Kubernetes at scale on bare metal, this is your territory.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and operate the cloud control plane across regions and tenant types.
- Own the lifecycle for clusters: provisioning, upgrades, day-2 operations, and decommissioning.
- Build internal tooling that reduces toil for the operations and customer-facing teams.
- Partner with sales and product to shape platform capability against real customer demand.
- Contribute to go-to-market, technical content and customer engagements where helpful.
Required Skills and Experience
- Production Kubernetes experience is essential.
- Background in bare metal, IaaS or platform engineering is important.
- Experience operating large-scale systems: large GPU clusters, supercomputing or mainframes.
- Comfortable across compute, storage, networking and identity layers.
- Strong Linux and infrastructure-as-code fundamentals.
- Pragmatic. Happy to do the unglamorous work that makes a platform reliable.
- Willingness to interact with customers, sales and product, not just engineering.
Desirable / Bonus Skills
- Previous experience at a cloud provider.
- Familiarity with multi-tenant networking, RDMA fabrics and GPU-specific scheduling.
